Ordering Online

Submit your order securely to us via this web site. You can even choose to pick up your order in the store – at no additional cost!


Ordering By Phone

Please refer to our home page for store hours and call us at 610-896-1178. Our staff will assist you in placing your order over the phone. Use our site as your own personal catalog!


Shipping Policies

The Haverford College Bookstore is proud to offer you the most competitive shipping rates. All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items.

Items are shipped through Fedex. We offer several options; including ground, 2 day, and overnight shipping. On average, we require a 1-2 day handling time. Shipping time frames should be calculated for working days only (Monday-Friday). During August or December, delivery time may take longer. Shipping rates for non-contiguous US states/territories and international orders are determined on an individual basis.

Please note: The Haverford College Bookstore does not ship to P.O. Boxes

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

In Store Purchases
Textbooks

  • Full Refund: Course materials (new or used textbooks, workbooks) must be returned, with receipt, within 8 days from the first day of class for a full refund. After 8 days, refunds on books for dropped classes must be returned, with receipt, within 2 days of dropping class, with proof of a schedule change.

  • Partial Refund: If a new book has any marks, names, highlighting, or any other damage, it MAY be refunded with receipt at the used book price, depending on condition. Please note; full refund requirements apply.

  • If You Purchase the Wrong Books: Present register receipt and textbook in its original condition within 8 days of purchase for exchange of incorrect text for correct text.


Please Note:
  • Books containing software/access codes are not returnable if software/access codes have been opened.
  • E-books are not returnable if activated.
  • Textbooks in shrink-wrap are not returnable if opened.
  • Study aids are not returnable.
  • No refunds during finals week.


-Non-textbook items (clothes, gifts, cards) may be returned within 30 days of purchase with register receipt as long as product is in its original condition and still has the tags.
-Electronics may not be returned unless defective and must be accompanied by valid sales receipt.
-General books may be returned within two days of purchase with a valid sales receipt.
-Health and Beauty items are not returnable if opened.
-All sale items are final sales and are not returnable.

Mail items within 30 days of purchase to the address below. Please include your original order # and a note with instructions and your contact information. Returned clothing must be brand new, unwashed with tags. The textbook return policy is the same as in store purchasing and must be postmarked as such. We will credit your account upon receiving your goods.
